Just picked up Final Fantasy: Spirits Within, to check out the CGI.

Only had a quick 10 minute look in work but i must say that it looks mind blowingly visually stunning, cant wait to check the full dvd out. If Clone Wars looks half as good as this we are in for a treat.

FF the spirits within is an excellent CGI film (bear in mind that it is a few years old and things have progressed quite a bit) you also might want to check out Monsterhouse slightly more cartoony however it is motion captured ala the Binks and Gollum but in places its eerily realistic in the motion and rendering.

i cannot wait for the Clones Wars series now

I've heard some good things about Monster House; apparently it's the new Goonies...

"People say football is a matter of life and death" , " I believe it is much more important than that"

"Spider Pig, Spider Pig, does whatever a Spider Pig does, Can he swing from a web? No he can't, he's a pig..."

Not seen the Monster House, yet!, but try to see all computer animation films.  I'm very impressed with the graphics these days and the 'textures' that they can get, right from the first pixar animations like the monocycle one and the toy musical soldier one to their first big hit with Toy Story and so on.

Actually watched Ghostrider last night - story not that strong but the special effects are very cleverly done and blend in very well.

The work that ILM can do is very impressive and I am definately looking forward to the new Clone Wars series.
