| After weeks of indecision, I've preordered Jabba from play.com. Is anyone else getting this? Whats your opinion of the statue? On Gentle Giant's site it states that if you also get the jabba's band statue you can mail away for a free Bib Fortuna. Will this offer be available to the UK?

| It does look an impressive item. The price tag looks OK as you are saving on postage from GG's own site and of course Play.com is free delivery. My thought is it will make a great addition to any collection. Out of the this and the Jabba's Band release I think the band item looks funkier although the Jawa does light up on the Jabba piece. With regards to the free Bib Fortuna figure www.entertainmentearth.com states that details for claiming him are in the box so presumably you would be able to mail away for it (Please dont quote me!) Enjoy

| Hi, the free Bib Fortuna offer will be available in the UK when you purchase Jabba and the Band Stattues (that's two items). HTH James

| Thanks for the advice. I'm hoping to get the band statue at a later date (if funds allow!). I've just looked up GG's website again, they now have info on the free Bib Fortuna. In each box there is a scratch off card containing a code. You enter these codes on the website to qualify for the free Bib. Oversee's customers have to pay $20 postage and customs fees. I've never ordered anything from overseas, how much roughly are customs fees? (I assume the more you order, the higher the fee?). Also can UK customers order other items direct from GG? Does this work out more costly than ordering from the UK?

| My Black Hole Stormtrooper Animated Maquette was $80 to buy plus shipping costs of about $40, customs charges were £24 including the Parcelforce fees. Which meant the statue cost some £90 Where as my Cody cost no extra charges at all Nick

| I don't get this customs thing either as I have just received a bill from FedEx charging me £21.12, which is £6.80 admin fee and £14.32 VAT, for my SDCC Scout Trooper and the two comics with mini-busts that I ordered recently from SWShop.com. This is the first additional bill I have received as I have not had an | | | |
