| We've just sent off our latest list of questions for Hasbro and thought that it would be worthwhile also having a thread where people can post their questions. That way, everyone can see in advance what's being asked. Of course, if you want to remain anonymous, you can still use the regular method of submitting your questions here: http://www.jedinews.co.uk/qanda/qanda.aspx

| Can you ask Hasbro this please? With the 1st wave of figures for 2008 being announced, when are we going to see the new packaging?
I happen to like nice men....

| Possibly a bit early for this question but it ties in with the last round of questions. With the vintage style figures being rested for 2008, could we see the style return in 2009 but with revamped Episode 1 figures, as this would tie in with its 10th anniversary?

Watto I have been thinking/hoping they would do this since the 1st vintage line if they do, do you think they would do Commtech chips again

| Hasbro have said that there will be no real packaging change till the Clone Wars range arrives in the second half of 2008. The only change I think we'll see with Wave 1 in 2008 is the removal of the coins, being swapped out for the stands. I don't think the cards will change that much but it's worth asking the question anyway... Vintage being rested for 2008 - I think this is a good idea and will allow the guys and girls at Hasbro decide the future of the vintage line from 2009 onwards. I really like the idea of celebrating the 10th anniversary of 'The Phantom Menace' with some vintage like figures although from the polls done at Rebelscum Vintage like modern figures don't appear to be too popular amongst fans - I guess time will tell... Watto I have been thinking/hoping they would do this since the 1st vintage line if they do, do you think they would do Commtech chips again I started collecting EP1 figures in 2000 when I found an EP1 darth maul in poundland! but the first time I heard the commtalk's was last year when I found a loose commtalk reader at a car boot sale. I enjoyed listening to them, but to be honest they don't sound at all right. That being said a vintage style EP1 figure won't be the same without them. Perhaps one of the improvements to the figures could be rerecorded commtalk chips. | | | |
