I've loved Star Wars since my mum took me to see it in '77 at the cinema in Exeter... when I was 6 (aww!)... It was the quietest 2 hours my mum'd ever had with me, and I never looked back. (my sister couldn't see what all the fuss was about though...)

My favourite character was immediately han solo... which grew into a bit of a teen obsession with Harrison Ford (mmm.... harrison fooooorrrd). I'm definitely a chewy fan now tho... him and the emperor... 'oh, I'm afraid the deflector shield will be quite operational when your friends arrive...', ace!

I went along to CE and had just the best time (except the queuing... that was sucky)... meeting some fellow geeks, lying on the grass to watch A new hope (ace!) and chilling out every night at the fox bar... watching the improptu lightsaber battles... drinking a bit too much then falling over...

I'm going to head over to the space centre in a couple of weeks - I'm jammy as I only live down't road from Leicester... none of the overpriced hotels and hours of driving for me... not this time

Anyway - it's nice to say 'hi'...
