I find that i have quite a bit of star wars clothing but when its all said and done do people think they are better for collectors or to have to wear both possibly?

I think that they are still a collectors item yet given time they might get eaten if not stored properly.  If you wear them then they inevitably get [battle] damaged and this spoils them.  I bought my kids a couple of t-shirts from starwars.com and had them custom made with their names on and I put their age on the back (as they were birthday presents), in the back of mind I was hoping that they would look after them and keep them forever more - silly me.

I tend to wear something once and then store it away (after washing it before you all go 'eeeuuugh!').
