I've never been that interested in getting a games console, but with the news that there will be a lightsabre game for the Wii, I think that may now change.

Anyone got one of these?  If so, are they worth getting?

As you know I have a Xbox 360 (my first ever console) - it's mainly used as a Windows Media Player that links in to our home network and Media Centre.  The Wii is supposed to be good for excercise (it's been proven as well!)

The lighstsabre game sounds great though and I might have to indulge!!!

I saw a glimpse of a lightsaber game on the Wii on one of those tv buy channels when we were channel surfing the other day.  It didn't look too impressive although the presenter was just flailing her arms around.

I'm of the Playstation ilk and have had a lengthy discussion with Warwick Davies on playing Lego Star Wars II! I cant wait for The Force Unleashed but I need to get a PS3 first!!!  Hopefully Mrs Santa will arrange something for xmas.

The lightsabre game is in fact "Star Wars LEGO The Complete Saga" and comes out in October this year!  The lightsabre features are only available on the Wii platform.

PS As soon as I get back from holiday I'm ordering my Wii in anticipation!!!

I'm going to give the Wii a miss. I 'm just going to get The Force Unleashed on the Xbox 360 when it's released. Cant wait. Vader's secret Apprentice will kick butt. The clips i saw at CE just blew me away.

Why cant it be on the playstation aswell!  It could incorporate the eyetoy camera and we could use a replica lightsaber just like this (kksssshhhh, swish, swish, (gentle) hhmmm, sssshhhkk).  Maybe I'll speak to Mr Sony when I see him next.

There's another abbreviation!!!  Does it translate to 'have to have'?

Oh yeah, please dont forget to bring your loyal subjects pressies from your holiday!!!!!! (I'll send you my wishlist, thanks).
