Doe's anyone here subscribe to Star Wars Insider?

Whats your view on the magazine? I subscribe to it, but to be honest I don't really read all of it and it normally doesn't contain any news that I haven't already heard on the internet. On the plus side some of their interviews are interesting and I enjoy reading the letter pages.

What's bugging me at the moment is that the price of the magazine seems to vary from month to month. I subscribed to the magazine early this year for £29.95, the currant subscription price is £27.50. Not much different, but still a bit annoying. Also I have not recieved any of the subscription kit.

Your views please.

Yeah i also subscribe but am still waiting on the gifts, joined a month before CE. It could be better, i read the full mag but the best bits are the Q&A and the Steve Sansweet part at the back. Looking forward to next month mag, because its about Bounty Hunter and Mandalorians and it has the Fett interviews.

I would think that the gifts are sent out all the same time, maybe the start of every calender year? I will be phoning the Customer sevice dept if i dont get them soon.

I skimmed through the Insider again this morning and noticed that the subscription price is currantly £21.95, (The £27.50 I quoted earlier was from the Titan magazine website). A full £8 less then I paid! If you don't mind me asking Lordstarwars, what price did you pay? On the gifts, all I have recieved was a letter in april saying the membership card would be sent soon.

I subscribe and generally enjoy it as although it is not totally up to date it's all good.  To be fair it's never going to be up to date when you can get everything you need from jedi news. ()

My only criticism is that there are very little contributions from the UK.

Still waiting for my gifts as well!

Issue 75 (March), arrived through my letterbox this morning. Not a bad issue, focusing on bounty hunters. (Some interesting photo's of a white Boba fett on page 33 + 34).

Also recieved a poster, which I think must be one of the subscription gifts as I can't see it mentioned in the magazine.

Subscription price this month is £27.50, but you get a free mini saber. No mention of the other gifts / fan club though, so maybe their not doing them anymore?

My subscription has just ran out with issue 75, I also paid £29.95 for the last year.

I noticed that the cover price of the magazine has come down over the past year from £4.99 to £4.50 to £3.75 and it's also got a lot thinner.

I worked out that if I had bought the last year's worth of SW mag from the newsagents it would have only cost me £25.99.

I emailed them asking where the extra £3.96 had gone. They claim the subscription price isn't just the cost of the mag, you pay for P&P as well.

First I've heard!
