| I guess I was wrong about my subscription running out next issue! I recieved a letter this morning entitled 'Former subscriber survey 2008'. It then continues with "You no longer subscribe to Star Wars Insider..............". Thought this was a little strange as you normally get a renewal notice before magazine subscriptions run out? I don't think i'll resubscribe, ( probably just have a sneaky scan through a new issue at the newsagents and then decide whether to buy it or not! )

| Funnily enough, I got the same letter today as welll Watto, and I had the exact same reaction! I'm not sure I'll re-subscribe either, since I'm already signed up in Canada, which automatically renews every year from when Insider wasn't available over here.

I got the same survey this morning, I notice that for question 2,
'What made you first take out a subscription?',
one of the options to tick is: 'Postage free delivery'
That's strange because Titan claimed the extra cost I paid was for P&P (refer back to my original comment on this post).
Not only will they be getting the survey back filled in, but also a strongly worded letter.
I suggest anyone else who receives the survey also returns it, making clear their grievances.
Perhaps then the prices will start to be consistant and you might get the same FREE gifts for RENEWING as you do when you become a NEW member.

i subscribe and agreed the magazines don't always have the most up to date info, although i figure if you keep the magazines in really good condition they make a good collectors item eventually.

After recieving the Former subscriber survey last month, I get home today and find the latest issue of Star Wars Insider on the door mat! So who knows when my subscription runs out?! Theres no subscription renewal notice with this issue either, so I really don't know! (Neilfa, the price of this issue is back up to £4.99).

| I haven't read it in a few years. Last time I did, I got really wound up over an article saying how much cooler Star Wars is as a result of the prequels and it made better sense. I have nothing against the prequels, i love them, but if I was to show someone who had never seen any of the films before, i would still show 4,5 & 6 first and then 1,2,& 3, simply because there were such HUGE things to learn that way round. It was saying things like, how great it was that the audience knew Vader was Luke father before the annoucement in ESB, but that was really one of the most awesome moments in ESB, the fact that no-one knew and that the truth would not come out until ROTJ. It went onto other facts that were so bad I nearly cried from things like changing Bobas voice to that of Jango etc etc. I haven't bought it since, which is a shame. I also don't like Titan's laziness of reprinting out of date content either.

| Although I don't subscribe to the Mag I feel I am qualified to add to this post, as i have every issue of the magazine since its inception ( I still have the bookmarks attached),I feel the OSWM has gone a bit downhil of late (not to say i won't be buying all issues, and i hope it runs and runs), that said the other day i was looking through some old issues for images for a modelling project and the content seems to have shrank, i understand that this is not a film year and there is not much new news. The last issue was great with the 100 greatest things but after reading that, what was left (I always read Jawas Corner 1st with it being shiny and full of things i can buy) Just to add JN is an excellent source of news is there anyway we can work along side the publishers on the OSWM on an international level, maybe in a similiar way to the hasbro Q&A whereby an International SW fan site has input to the Magazine every month make it about what we want to know and not so much about what we already do know (for the most part) , for me the fan relation aspects of the mag, though small are interesting. I think it needs some freshness added( i know there is new look to the mag as of the nxt issue but lets see) Sorry to break away, but Guys any opinions
