Not sure if this is common knowledge, but I only discovered this yesterday.

'Mythbusters' is a Discovery channel show that carries out experiments to find out if myths are true. What has this got to do with Star Wars? Well, I was watching an episode yesterday when Grant says something like  "when I used to work for Lucasfilm". I took a look on IMDB and it says That Adam, Jamie, Grant and Tory from the show worked for ILM and worked on the prequels and Grant was an R2-D2 operator.

I took a look at my copy of 'Creating the worlds of star wars 365 days' and there is some pics of them working on models. (If you have the book sections 120,160,175,193,280).

Doe's anyone know of other Star wars connected people that star on Tv / films , but that you might not immediately recognise them to be connected with star wars?

"What you think you're some kinda Jedi, waving your hand around like that?"

"I'm a Toydarian. Mind tricks don'ta work on me-only money. No money, no parts! No deal!"

Slightly at a tangent but (and stick with me on this!)

The first film I ever saw at the cinema was Dark Crystal back in nineteen eighty something.  This film is done with 'puppets' the same way as Yoda, Jabba and ilk from the prequels.  In the film the lead character visits an old hag to obtain an item and this old hag Aughra is voiced and 'acted' by Frank Oz (who also directed).  The film was also shot at Elstree Studios.

For anyone else now reminiscing there is a sequal due out next year (hopefully) called 'The Power of the Dark Crystal'.

“(Obi-Wan) "That boy is our last hope." (Yoda) "No, there is another."”

"(Yoda) "Yamaro his name is.""
