Is anyone else finding it pretty hard to get these figures in stores. I've seen them on "evilbay" and other net stores but its just not the same. You just cant hunt properly on the net like the way you can walk around your town/city and try 5 or 6 different stores. And now their is also the UGH McQuarrie figures which will be even harder to get!!!

I have these so far:

Luke CE exclusive

Droids CE exculsive

Stormtrooper

Boba Fett

Chewbacca

Darth Vader

Starkiller Hero

Han Solo

The ones i need are Concept Greivous and Obi-Wan & Yoda, i know i will have to get these from the net but i hope to get 2 more that i need in stores: Snowtrooper and Rebel Trooper

There are a few other figures that i've never seen on the pegs: Pre cyborg Greivous, Tycho Celchu, Darth Revan and Darth Malak. I dont even know which wave i'm on.

Thanks rant over.

To be honest lsw, I've pretty much given up buying from stores on the High Street.  I can never seem to find anything that I want and whilst there is a specialist comic store in Brighton, new figures are priced £7.50 and above and I'm not willing to pay that.  I already think we pay over the odds for our figures, so £6 is pretty much my limit.

I bought a few of the McQuarrie figures from Play.com (including the Snowtrooper) and I was lucky enough to get Boba Fett and the Stormtrooper from TRU and Argos.  As far as the other figures that you mentioned are concerned, I don't think we're likely to see them on the shelves.  TRU seem to do well for the first few waves of each 'collection' and then that seems to be it.

I would say that Play.com is your best bet (they have a number of the figures you listed), even if it's not the same as the hunt, and I know what you mean about that; it does kinda take the fun out it...

You're entitled to rant....that's part of what the forums are for!

I agree trying to find figures in on the high street is difficult.

I search the net and today have just completed the full set of 60 30th Anniversary figures.

Good luck with your search.

I'm quite lucky in Derby as we have a few good stockists of Star Wars, and I am also obsessive enough to hunt very frequently. I have really enjoyed having to hunt for figures again since before i was selling and getting them out of cases.

As for the UGH McQuarrie figures, that's a different story as no amount of traditional hunting will find those... Hasbro UK didn't bring them in this time- and since they were literally only hundreds of each that came in back in 2006, it wasn't much better then.
