I wondered if Simon would be there! The man is a legend and totally down to earth, as is Nick Frost

... anyway ...

I spotted two familiar faces although the use of the word "celebrity" may be a little much.

Firstly there was Patsy "bianca from Eastenders" Palmer. She was not happy about the queue on friday morning when she arrived with her family. Saw her again later, her kids laden with toys.

And while waiting to see the fantastic Charles Ross show I saw who I referred to as "that bloke from Busted" My brother corrected me .. he was apparently "that bloke from McFly". He watched the show.. then was loitering outside the ladies loos (waiting for his girlfriend I hasten to add), then was eating his lunch outside. I had to look him up on the net as I had no idea what his name was/is ... apparently it's Tom

Who knew eh

All right, look, there's only one "Return," okay, and it ain't "of the King," it's "of the Jedi." (Clerks II 2006)

A bit off at a tangent but...

I saw Kenny Baker at the Nat Space Centre in Leicester last year and as he walked past me I politely asked if I could take a photo he grumbled, briefly posed, half smiled, grumbled again and then walked off.   So that put me off him and I didn't bother to queue for his autograph, I had heard that he is a bit short tempered (no pun intended).  Whereas Warwick Davies is a cool dude.  I saw him twice in as many months, probably thought I was stalking him!, and both times he was chatty.  I got him and Jeremy Bulloch to sign a book.

This isn't the best, as I didn't talk to him or anything, but here goes:

I was standing outside on the saturday, looking at the spray-paint art and rick mccallum walked right in front of me, surrounded by loads of security and stopped right in front of me, about 3 feet away... i already had my camera out as was taking a pic of the art... so i got a sneaky one of him (i'll stick it on here, when i put it on a pc that's hooked upto the net). He seemed really nice... the reason he'd stopped was because he's spotted a guy he'd promised a photo with. He said something like 'guys, i've gotta have a photo with this him, he's been waiting all day'. His security really didn't look too pleased about it though.

Not that I'm a fan - can't even name a track - but my friend Will said that McFly were there in disguise and came to visit him.

He knows them all as he does books for them, and they turned up at his stand in beanie caps and sunglasses etc so no-one recognised them - which I think is pretty funny when you see how much security Darren Hayes etc had around him.

Maybe we should push for him to co-write something with Mr L!
