Is it just me or almost every show i watch nowadays has a star wars reference. Almost everytime i flip the channel there is a star wars reference on the show. Not that its a bad thing i just never realized how much it was going on. Though it is nice that everyone wants a piece of the star wars action.

Watched the film 'Racing Stripes' today and there is a pelican that says "use the Force". So it gets everywhere and so it should.

sometimes they can work really well, like in shows like Spaced, which is littered with many references from many films, however I like the really out there ones, or those that you just do not expect, like George Lucas doing a cameo in Beverly Hills Cop 3.

| Here's some for you re R2-D2 (as provided by Bryan Burk) He appears as part of the mother ship at the end of Close Encounters. Artoo was also built into the deck of the pirate ship that sails off in the Goonies. He appears in the first third of the film Mission Impossible III, the shot is done from above so you see the top of his dome.

thats some awesome examples you guys i saw one the other day on the tv show smallville where chloe tells clark kent that not even obi wans lightsaber could deafeat him
