| Something occurred to me the other day. Star wars plays a major part in my daily life. I always check out Jedinews and some other star wars websites, aswell as some online stores for star wars items. I read a star wars book during my lunch break. Star wars is on my mind many times during the day. But i've realized that I don't actually watch a Star Wars film very often. Just looking around this forum for example, only a few topics are about the films. So my question is - How often do you watch Star Wars and do you think that collecting and being a fan have become more important than the film's themselves?

| Well... my children insist on watching one of the films (usually from the OT) at least once a month. We do usually watch it with them! In a way I think the 'Expanded' Universe of colleting has overtaken things but it does all link back to the films... from quotes in every day life to discussing them all the time. Everything is always compared to the OT. HTH James

| I don't watch the movie's very often now. I guess as iv'e watched them something like 1000+ times I only put them on for family/friends who haven't watched them. Last time i watched them i had a few m8's over who hadn't seen them ( amazingly ) and we did all 6 1 after another. That was about a year or so ago. Mind you even though i don't watch the movie's very often doesn't mean star wars is not a big part of my life. I think i do something star wars related atleast 3 or 4 times a day.
Size matters not. Judge me by my size, do you?

| Have to admit I don't watch the films that often now but read alot of books and comics from the expanded universe.

To be honest i only watch them every few months but i visit Star Wars sites every day and read some books. I also have them on my ipod so i can watch them whenever i want on the move.

star wars is almost an all day every day part of my life, i am constantly checking jedi news, watching the movies but it helps that i have the ewok adventures and animated droids, blue harvest ect ect all on dvd. I am constantly donig something with star wars even when i am at work i have star wars pens and star wars office supplies surrounding me to stay in the star wars environment. Everyone at work loves my r2-d2 trashcan that noone is allowed to use. I never even realized how much of a part of life i made star wars untill i sat down and thought about it.

| We tend to do a bout of watching all six films with the two animated clone wars thrown in as well every couple of months or so as the 'kids' in the household need their fix. Outside of the movies I also logon (almost) every day to Jedi News and receive star wars related emails from the likes of starwars.com, lucasarts, sideshow, gentle giant and others so one way or another I am surfing on the crest of a Star Wars wave.

sounds good, i believe anyone that makes something out of every day to have to do with star wars is not just a fan but is part of star wars
