I'm looking forward to the next one in two or three years time. Please say there's going to be one sooner, this has to become an annual event...

| I doubt very much it will become an annual event - even the US aren't that lucky! In the meantime there's Star Wars events at the Leicester National Space Centre twice a year (which are very good fun - next event is the 22nd/23rd Sept at which the UK Garrison has a huge presence) as well as various conventions up and down the country (Empire Day, London Film and Comic Con, Memorabilia, Collectormania and others). Keep checking Jedi News for more information as and when! James

I'm ssssoooooooo gutted we were on holiday at the time and already booked it before the dates were announced, so I didn't go. We were only in Weymouth and I so very, very nearly popped down the road to London and after reading everything that went on I wish I did. Oh, well, I'm definately going to the next one.

lordstarwars (13/08/2007) They probably wont have it in London again, but i hope they do. Paris would be good in 2009.
I'm liking idea of either Paris, Berlin, Madrid or Lisbon.

| Final CE thoughts!? I doubt anyone will be able to get me to shut up about it for another few months at least!! I absolutely loved all 3 days of the eent, and will find it very hard to wait for the next one. My hopes for CEII are that it will be in London again- very biased, selfish reasons, but London also seems a logical place to me. The UK has pretty much the biggest fanbase in Europe, and English is probably the most common language across Europe (I'm not a 'little Englander' at all, but I see how I'm coming across as one!). I also think that the Excel is a great convention center, and if the convention center changes each time the team will never adapt the event to the venue appropriately. That said, if it were to happen in the Uk again, use both halls of the Excel! Now we know how popular it is, we need the room! Even if there wasn't twice as much content, the space between things needs to be twice as wide based on Saturday and Sunday. And as for when, 2009!! No more than two years wait, I say. And in 2009 the new TV show will be starting so it'll be good for promotional/hype purposes. Roll on CEII! I want that buzz again!
