Thought I would start a new topic listing all the Star Wars bargain the forum members see on their travels across the interweb.

Play.com- comp to win Dan&Dan Vader project helmet, (not sure which one this is, anyone?) Spend over £20 on Star Wars merchandise and get a free pack of Star Wars playing cards. They have loads of good deals on at the minute, inc Chubbies from £4.99, Luke and Darth Maul GG bust £19.99, Plo Koon GG bust £17.99 and many more. Also Star Wars Vault book to pre-order.

Also on this topic put your wants/needs down and we can all look out for them and let each other know.

I want, cheap Master Reps .45 saber's, cheap full size clonetrooper helmets. Luke X-Wing GG Bust. Boba Fett Marmit figure MIB.

Play are good if you want to open, since I've only ever received items (other than CDs and DVDs) in brown paper, where there's a risk of the box getting damaged and I've heard of other people who've received items that have got quite bashed in transit.

So if you want to keep things MIB, then you might not want to risk it, but if you're going to open then they're well worth using.

I have had 4 GG Busts from play and all have been very well packed. I did get a hasbro figure that had a slight bend on the cardback but i did want to open it anyway.

I too use Play quite a bit, and 95% percent of the stuff a have had from them has been fine the only really damaged items were the clone troopers bust ups and the Hellboy sword of storms dvd with bust ups and this was due to the local postmadman trying to get them through the letterbox (must have a thing against Bust ups) I have had MR lightsabres Koto, GG, Sideshow, Chubbies and also Basic figures and all these have been fine
On the bargain front The Entertainer has the demise of General Grevious for £6, The Vintage Saga figures (06) for £8, Skirmish in the Senate BP for £15, and the Comic Con Holographic Leia for get this £1.50. I am not sure if these are online only prices but may take a trip over the weekend to find out.

I'm after Crimson Empire graphic novel, if possible with the 2 bust-ups. I had Crimson 2 at Forbidden Planet in London for £3 but not 1 stand had Crimson 1 at CE. If anyone know's a store or site it would be great if you could let me know.
