I ordered from them a year or two ago. The 'in stock' item took a while to come. But they were very polite and helpfull when I chased up the order.

My stuff turned up today from batsons. ordered 10 figures but 2 were out of stock, concept stormie  In the old days I used to order from R2Dtoys, anyone still order from them and if so are they good still?

I think there were a few people having problems with their orders from R2Dtoys (Myself Included!). I'm not sure if they are still open or not. A shame as they always had a wide range of stock.

I think r2 are now closed but i think they guy that ran it passed over his stock, customers etc to a new company who will run the r2 site for him. But dont quote me on that.

I paid a visit to my favourite store in Calgary, Chinook and Hobby West (don't be put off by the website - it's being re-done in any case), and had a bit of a splurge- Anakin Skywalker's Green Jedi Starfighter (TAC)
- Sith Evolutions (TAC Repack)
- R2-B1 (TAC # 51)
- Rebel Vanguard Trooper (TAC # 53)
- Comic Pack # 2 - Vader and Rebel Officer (repainted variant)
- Chewbacca & Disassembled C-3PO Galactic Heroes
- Indiana Jones with Temple Trap (Deluxe Figure)
If you ever visit Calgary, I would definitely recommend taking a trip to this store - they have a huge range of Hasbro, Sideshow & Gentle Giant items and currently a humongous Star Destroyer (including a to-scale Tantive IV in the docking bay) hanging from the ceiling. I'm trying to get some photos and will post when I have them.

Spent the weekend away and while away I managed to find and purchase a Lando as Skiff Guard mini bust. For fathers day I recieved The Deathstar Novel!
