| Just returned from the Harlow Toysrus Auction of the Clone Wars Store Display. Well the auction bidding was truly frantic with the auction starting at 1035am for the assembled crowd of bidders whch totalled just 1 person.....ME !! SO I was asked by the Manager of the store which parts of the display did I want, he was slightly taken back when I said that I would take all 7 parts of it. So he told me what the reserve was and was I happy to pay that sum which I told him I was and that was it !! All 7 parts of the display from Harlow are now mine. I will be picking them up this week, when the Clone Wars wall is replaced with High School Musical 3 feature wall. The store even opened up a specific till to take my purchase and gave me the point of sale material for the auction, and because I had spent above £75, they gave me a £10 gift voucher to use in store between the 24/10/2008 and 13/11/2008 So happy days around !!!

Congratulations Nick! I did wonder how many people would turn up, as the auction was only advertised for a week. I was going to go to the Swindon store for the auction out of interest, not to buy. But i've spent a lot on Gentle giant items lately, so to avoid the temptation of spending cash I don't have, I decided not to visit Toyrus this week!

From Woolworths today= Nothing despite the fact they have THREE FOR TWO on all toys until Sunday OT Yesterday I got Roger Moores Auto biography signed by him in person at Waterstones in Piccadilly- Well pleased the book was half price! ( Sir Roger looked remarkably well for 82!)
