On Adam's advice I went to TK Maxx in Stevenage and got Galactic heros vehicles.  Not busts I'm afraid.

Ive been doing lots of hunting in TK latley -I picked up the Gree and shock mugs in Kettering and wanted the 501st one which I found in Milton Keynes yesterday- trouble is the handle is broken so Ive got to take it back.

Best score for me was a death star breifing set found in the clearance for 12.00 .

Ive not seen any maquettes in any branch Ive visited, where do they normally put them as I may be looking in the wrong place?

Welcome stranger whatya buying..

In respect of 3 3/4 inch figures they have had a lot of clearance items from the Saga 2006 line, figures that I have seen included Power Droid, Bib Fortuna, Barada, Leia as Boushh to name just a few. This along with hundreds and hundreds of Episode 1 carded Anakins and Obi Wans.

As for ships I have seem Kit Fisto Starfighters but that was about all.

Like Jezza I have seen no Maquettes at all

Popped into the creepy Crawley branch today looking for an Asajj Ventress for JamesB, but came up short again (sorry James).  They did have a POTF2 Death Star Droid for £2, which I was going to get, but since I was parked without a ticket (no cash and the machine wouldn't take my card), and the two members of staff behind the counter were taking so long to serve people, in the end I decided to leave it.  Shame, 'cause I wanted it...but it's not worth £42 or however much a parking ticket in Crawley is nowadays.

I did notice by the tills though that they had a whole bunch of TSC figures; much the same selection as ThreeDarths has listed....

Called into Swindon TK Maxx this morning. Theres Quite a lot scattered around the store- Model kits, Koto Vader, Galatic Heroes Vehicles, Titainium Vaders, Cantina band tin sets (£12.99), EP3 Vader mini plates, a couple of POTJ+POTF+SAGA+EP1 figs, attacktix and about 50 2006 Saga Bib Fortunas by the till.

Hunted high and low for GG Maquettes but none to be found.

I told my wife about not buying the DSD to which she replied "so it wasn't the droid you were looking for?"; took me a second to realise what she was getting at....lol!

I confused a stormtrooper last year at the space centre cus he stopped us as we drove in and cleverly said "Have you got any illegal droid's?" pointing to my two sons sitting excitedly in the back and I responded by waving my hand and saying "These aren't the droids you are looking for!".  To which I got a "What, oh yeah, very funny!".  The missus was still sniggering when we got out of the car!

Back to the hunting - I popped into the two TK Maxx's situated in Coventry and found no GG items what so ever.  Needless to say that I didnt walk out of there emptyhanded though as I bought a cool MR .45 Yoda replca lightsaber, two Clone mugs, a Yoda ceramic bank, two Titanium diecast figures (Darth Vader and Boba Fett) [The Fett one is quite cool], the Millenium Falcon Transformer, and a few Ep 1 figures.

Following the news story about the Lego in Woolies I haven't been in there for ages so I might check it out at the weekend.  Watch this space topic.

"(Yoda) "Yamaro his name is.""

I was at TK Maxx seeing what I could grab but it was almost all models, and the most varied assortment of figures I've seen for ages! Anything from TPOTF to OTC, although nothing that could plug a hole. The assistant was very helpful though and tried to help me find a Cantina tin set!
