Just recently getting into Star Wars books, read both the Republic Commando books and just started to read Star Wars- Legacy Of The Force, the story centers around the new Jedi order, roughly 40 years after a new hope. Han and Leia's kids are Jedi and also Luke and Mara's son is a jedi. The Galactic Alliance are having a dispute with Han's home planet of Corellia over them wanting to be independant, so they rope in the Jedi to help. Meanwhile Luke is having dreams and visions of a future emeny, possible a Sith. Never really got into Star Wars comic's so any extra help and info on what i should get will be excellent.

What are you favourite stories and characters from the Expanded Universe?

Who would you like to see more of and maybe a Hasbro figure?

I would thoroughly recommend the Timothy Zahn book Outbound Flight which centres on the project by jedi Jorus C'boath to explore the unknown territories and how this gets caught up in republic politics.  A fantastic book with lots of familiar characters making appearances.  A real page turner.

I also really enjoyed the Jedi academy trilogy by Kevin J Anderson about how Luke Skywalker sets up his training school on Yavin 4 after returning from the dark side.  Well written and some very interesting characters.  Another set that's hard to put down.

If you are into short stories I would suggest Kevin J Anderson's books on the tales of Jabba's palace, Bounty Hunters and tales of the Cantina.  If you ever wondered what happened to that bloke in the background now you can find out.

If you're interested in reading about Luke's turn to the dark side, you should read 'Dark Empire' which was one of the first Dark Horse titles if I remember rightly.  It also features the Clone Emperor and Boba Fett.  The artwork was done by Cam Kennedy who I remember from my time reading 2000 AD; I really like his style.  Definitely worth checking out.

I'm really enjoying The Legacy of the Force series, on the second book now. When i complete the series I'm going to go onto The New Jedi order or the X-Wing series and i'm also going to track down Dark Empire.

THANKS FOR ALL YOUR INFO.

Haven't read any of the legacy of the force books yet.  I've just started Shatterpoint.

The X Wing series are brilliant.  Wraith Squadron books are some of the best.
