Not sure if this is the place to post this question. How new is this site? I don't see a lot of threads, not that that is a bad thing. I have bounced around this site the last few days and really like it. Being from the State it's cool to read the different slang and terminology. I really like that I have not read any post were people are flaming or calling out each other. That happens a lot on the rebelscum boards. God forbid you get extra exclusives and try and trade them. You get called a flipper or eBay scum. I feel like I'm walking on egg shells over there. That being said I do like rebelscum. Just at times you say the wrong thing or give a non popular opinion and you face someones wrath. This post kinda got away from me. Just really wanted to know the history behind the site.

| We've been around since May 4th this year. Adam and myself (James) had been involved in another Star Wars site before for a few years but felt the need to create our own dedicated Star Wars UK site for quite a while. Even though we've only been around for such a short time we've got quite a following already attracting thousands of unique visitors each month and we've been appluaded by many for our reporting style, site design and news (thank you to everybody that's commented on these things - it's greatly appreciated). We took the time and initiative to attend Celebration Europe as a site for coverage, and also to help raise funds for the 'Make a Wish Foundation'. We were overwhelmed at the support we got over the four days (including setup) and made a lot of new friends including the likes of Steve Sansweet, the guys from Hasbro US and many, many more. We've really hit the road running but we've been careful not to run to far ahead of ourselves, hence the lack of 100's of forum threads. We'd rather keep things simple and grow and create new forums as and when needed. We both hated the idea of creating loads of empty forums on day one. We're very open to new ideas, so if you feel something is missing then let us know and we'll see what we can do to try and fill the gap. It's good to have you onboard and we hope you enjoy Jedi News as much as we do writing it, putting it together and participating in it! Thanks James

| I agree with sithlordlloyd this site is a lot more chilled out in the forum's and i think run a bit better, very relaxed. I got about 50+ post on rebelscum and nearly 200 here. I think that says it all. Keep up the good work guy's.

Wow, I had no idea this place was so new. By the look of it and the way it's laid out it looks a lot older. I'm very impressed with the easy of getting around. This is a great Star Wars site and not just a great UK Star Wars site. I'm glad lordstarwars told me about this site. Keep up the good work.
